Porto Rafael provides a front row seat, both to the channel between Sardinia and La Maddalena, with its toing and froing of boats of all kinds, and to the dawn that rises over the cape that marks the boundary of the Costa Smeralda.
Villa Li Graniti dedicates a large and hybrid space to this view, which uses all means available to remove the transition between the interior and exterior. The lounge, veranda and the outdoor area to the back of the villa are seperated only by sliding glass, that regulates the passage of the breeze, but never the view. A side corridor leads to the master bedroom which in turn opens onto the pool, draped over the large granite boulders that give the house its name.
The interiors, curated by Atelier Labenoi by Susanna Colleoni, reflect the ethnic, comfortable and in its own way minimal style, typical of Porto Rafael. Three of the four bedrooms are located downstairs, and enjoy their own furnished exterior spaces. A modern kitchen, demarcated by dark floor-to-ceiling glass, serves the upper floor.
