Etro Home Interiors

RELAX IN THE STYLE OF A 1950S MOVIE

BY MARY JANE OLLEY

Exotic hints and vintage charm characterise the new Etro Home Interiors furniture collection, where details in sage and gold add bright notes to neutral shades.

Brazilian lacewood, marble, bronze and brass are just some of the materials employed. Like the Mekong sofa, clearly inspired by the 1950s, with lines that recall the fluidity of flowing water, or the Shiraz chair, where the paisley pattern, a recurring theme within the collection and inspired by the shoots of the date palm, lends its characteristic form to the seat. Do not miss the Berenice chaise longue, featuring a light structure with a bronzed finish and decorative rings, striking a perfect balance between purity of line and comfort.

The outdoor collection is similarly inspired, characterised by soft and elegant shapes. Precious woods and iconic fabrics can be found in the Menfi outdoor chaise longue, with a sinuous and inviting shape, a symbol of idleness and the carefree spirit of holidays. Menfi features bamboo feet and the combination of two different fabrics with a delicate green hue.

The set is completed by the Goa pouf, an enveloping embrace consisting of a teardrop-shaped element, again inspired by the paisley motif, covered with a new tropical-style fabric and an oval-shaped module in light green tones.
